Goblin Market

Christina Rossetti writes to demonstrate the moral of sisterly love being able to conquer all. In this poem two sisters have to face Goblin men. One of the sisters in captured by these men so the other one saves her, ending the story happily. This poem was intriguing because it makes you think of a fairytale by the plot and writing terms. I appreciated Rossetti's moral of the story because after-all it teaches you that a man will not always be there to save you on a white horse, it's your sister or family that truly has your back.
