Margert Cavendish writes her poems focusing in on science. While reading her works you notice she is mainly focused on the atom. In "Of Fire and Flame" she expresses the characteristics of the atom and fire. She compares them and focuses on the flame of the fire. She was critisized for her interest in science greatly and yet she is now studied and known as a successful woman writer. I found the work of intriging because not only is she obsessed with the theory of atoms she also is entranced with comparing fire to atoms.
